Food Production: Eligibility Criteria

Food production courses are majorly offered at diploma or certificate level by different hotel management colleges in India. However, few colleges also offer undergraduate degree courses in food production. Apart from this, food production is also taught as a subject in different culinary arts programmers.

Given below is eligibility criteria for all types of food production courses offered at UG level:

Candidates should clear Class 10th in any stream

Candidates should score minimum 45% – 60% aggregate marks in Class 10th

Candidates who have studied English as a major subject are usually preferred for admissions

Candidates with a prior experience in food/ culinary industry are sometimes preferred for admissions. However, it is not a mandatory eligibility criteria to have.
